Steve Langdon Contemporary Artist

Stephen Langdon is an Australian Contemporary artist living in Adelaide South Australia where he has had a Studio for 12 years.  Largely selftaught, he continues to impress his peers in the art world as well as the many hundreds of people who have been touched by both the artist and his art.  He looks to create art that expresses his own spirituality and faith and evoke a response from the onlooker.
   
Steve is both a painter and a sculptor.  His unique,lively use of colour, form and shape take us from whimsical to the abstract and  is primarily expressive.  His work  endevours to take us on a journey into our soul and the many pictures, events, emotions and thoughts recorded there in our life time.  From sculptures using timber, sandstone and other unloved treasures, to paintings on traditional canvas and board,anything can and has been used to transform and create the next work.   

He has many buyers that have bought his work then have found themselves drawn back over the years to buy more than one artwork and have now become collectors.  His art is well loved by those who have it in their home, holiday home, office,  Waiting rooms,cafe, restaurant or shop. 

Langdon's work is being recognised and bought by local, interstate and overseas collectors.  Among his collectors are Artist David Bromley, Gallery owners and art dealers Stephen Sinclair, Tony Bond, Neriba Galash and Tyson Bennison of Tyson ltd London and Adelaide Sunday Mail columnist and ABC radio personality Peter Goers..
